What this actually is
Your own car, in a city that fills up three times a year
First, what it is not: not a taxi, not a coach and not a fleet. I come to you, get into the car you already own and drive you where you need to be. You sit in the back of your own vehicle, and at the end of the day that car is back where it belongs.
On a normal weekday Den Bosch is a manageable city: offices around the station and towards the Pettelaarpark, the Brabanthallen on the other side of the railway, and a compact historic core with the Sint-Jan at its centre. The Parade, the Markt and the Korte Putstraat are where meetings and dinners happen, and that is exactly the area where a car gets you nowhere.
And then there are the weekends when the city becomes something else. At carnival Den Bosch turns into Oeteldonk and the centre is closed for three days. At Whitsun, Jazz in Duketown moves in with ten stages across the whole centre. On those days a driver is not a luxury but the only way to still arrive at the door.

Den Bosch comes down to two things: a centre that keeps the car out, and a handful of weekends when the whole city is on the street.
Carnival, or rather Oeteldonk
From Sunday 15 to Tuesday 17 February 2026 the centre is closed off for three days and parking anywhere near the Markt is not an option. Anyone who has to get home in the evening faces a problem no taxi app solves. I drop you where I can, come back when you call, and bring you and your car home.
Jazz in Duketown
Over the Whitsun weekend, 22 to 25 May in 2026, ten stages run from the Parade to the Markt and the Kerkplein, with more than eighty acts and over a hundred and fifty thousand visitors. Free to enter, so everyone comes. I plan the approach around what is open, not around what the navigation thinks.
Trade fairs and events at the Brabanthallen
In March, Indoor Brabant and The Dutch Masters come to the Brabanthallen, one of the largest equestrian events in Europe, and the rest of the year it runs fairs and congresses. Arriving there means joining a queue for the same site as everyone else. I drop you at the entrance and collect you when you call.
An ordinary working day with dinner afterwards
A day of appointments around the station and the Pettelaarpark, and dinner in the Korte Putstraat or something at Theater aan de Parade in the evening. Those are two worlds with a city centre in between. One driver, one car, and nothing for you to think about.

Down the A2, one of the busiest corridors in the country, where travel time climbs sharply between seven and nine and between four and seven. In those hours I build in margin rather than hoping for the best.

Around the Sint-Jan
The area around the Sint-Janskathedraal, the Parade and the Markt is largely low-traffic or one-way. I work out in advance how far I can drive and where the nearest point is to let you out, rather than discovering it on the spot.

The other side of the railway
The Brabanthallen sit across the railway and on a fair day are reachable only by whatever approach the event sets, not by the map. I check in advance how access is arranged that day.

End of the day
After the last appointment I take you home and leave the car where it belongs. If you left earlier by train, I still drive the car back and send a message with a photograph once it is parked.

What it costs
The rate is € 40 per hour excl. VAT with a three-hour minimum; from eight hours a day rate of € 300 applies. Den Bosch is three quarters of an hour from my base in the Utrecht region, so that approach time is in the quote. Across a full day it disappears into the day rate; on one short run you notice it. Ask, and I will work it out for you.
Recurring events
Three moments to book well ahead for. Carnival: 15 to 17 February 2026, three days in which the city is called Oeteldonk and the centre is closed. Jazz in Duketown: the Whitsun weekend, 22 to 25 May in 2026, with ten stages and more than a hundred and fifty thousand visitors. And in March, Indoor Brabant and The Dutch Masters at the Brabanthallen. On those days the closures and the car parks are not where they normally are.
I check environmental zones per city
The rules differ by municipality and they change. If you drive an older diesel and are also going to Utrecht, Amsterdam or The Hague that day, give me the registration when booking. I will check it city by city rather than us finding out at a camera that it was not allowed.
Insurance
I drive under your own policy, like any driver with your permission. Check once that there is no age or named-driver restriction on it; with almost every Dutch policy this is not an issue. If you are unsure, send the policy sheet along and I will look at it with you.
Discretion
What is discussed in the car stays in the car. One familiar face who knows your route and your preferences, rather than a different driver every time.
Rate
All rates shown are excl. VAT — this page is aimed at business clients. If you are a private customer, 21% VAT is added: €48.40 per hour instead of €40.
