Private chauffeur in Eindhoven
Not a taxi and not a fleet: I drive your car through Eindhoven and the Brainport region while you work in the back.
A dedicated driver based in the Utrecht region. I work without a fleet of my own. You travel in your own, familiar car and I handle the drive.
What you use me for
- Business trips in Brainport and on the High Tech Campus
- Driven to Eindhoven Airport or Schiphol, with your car back home
- Client visits and business dinners across the region
- Driving international guests discreetly and punctually
How it works
- 1
You share the date, time and route. You get a fixed rate and confirmed availability up front, no loose ends.
- 2
I come to you on time and drive you in your own car: discreet, punctual and one familiar face instead of rotating drivers.
- 3
Expenses (parking, tolls, fuel) are calculated up front and included in the price, transparent, with no surprises afterwards.
What this actually is
Your own car, from the campus to the airport
First, what it is not: not a taxi, not a coach and not a fleet. I come to you, get into the car you already own and drive you where you need to be. You sit in the back of your own vehicle, and at the end of the day that car is back where it belongs.
Eindhoven works differently from the Randstad. Appointments here are spread out: the High Tech Campus to the south, offices in the centre, suppliers on the business parks along the Ring, and some of the biggest names are not in Eindhoven at all but in Veldhoven or Helmond. A Brainport day is therefore mostly driving between addresses ten to twenty minutes apart.
The good news is that parking is the least of the problems here: € 4.80 an hour in the centre in 2026, against € 8.05 in Amsterdam. So what you gain here is not parking money. It is the loose quarter-hours between five appointments, and the chance to use that driving time instead of losing it.
When this works
Four situations where it earns its keep
Nobody in Eindhoven hires a chauffeur because of the parking tariff. It is about a region where your appointments are spread apart.
A day across Brainport
High Tech Campus in the morning, a supplier in Veldhoven, back to the centre in the afternoon. That is an hour and a half of driving spread across a day, plus parking on three sites. With me that is an hour and a half in which you can call and prepare.
Visitors you are showing around
A client or investor in the region for one day who wants to see several locations, with a match at the Philips Stadion, a concert at the Effenaar or the Muziekgebouw, or dinner on Strijp-S in the evening. You want to have the conversation, not navigate and park. In your own car, with one familiar face at the wheel, you keep talking all day, and nobody has to think about the way back from the Stratumseind.
Eindhoven Airport
An early flight from Eindhoven, or a guest landing there. I take you to the terminal and drive your car back to your own driveway, or I am waiting on arrival. I work from the flight number, so a delay shifts the appointment automatically.
The run to or from the Randstad
From Utrecht, Eindhoven is a good hour down the A2. That is an hour to go through your papers in the back of your own car instead of sitting in the queue at Den Bosch yourself, and at the end of the day you do not have to drive that road again.
How a day runs
From your driveway to the last appointment
I plan a Brainport day around the order of the locations, because here the travel time between appointments is larger than in a compact city centre.
- 01
Collection wherever you are
A quarter of an hour before the appointment
At home, at the office or at Eindhoven Centraal. I am there well before the agreed time. Tell me which appointments are fixed and which can shift, and I will order them so you are not driving the same way twice.
- 02
The drive to the region
From Utrecht ± 75 min, longer in the peak
Down the A2 past Den Bosch, which is the stretch where the morning and evening peaks cost most. Honestly: of the five cities on this site, Eindhoven is furthest from my base, so that approach time is in the quote. You see what that means in advance, not afterwards.
- 03
Between campus and centre
Ten to twenty minutes per move
The High Tech Campus, the Ring and the centre are close together but not next to each other. On the campus itself the approach to the right building is what matters; I work that out beforehand rather than searching the site while you are already late.
- 04
Stepping out at the door
On a business park too
I drop you at the entrance and sort out where the car goes afterwards. If your appointment takes an hour I stay nearby; if it runs longer I come back when you call.
- 05
Back to your own driveway
End of the day
After the last appointment I take you home and leave the car where it belongs, including back to the Randstad. If you left earlier by train, I still drive the car back and send a photograph once it is parked.
Practical points
What it costs, and what makes Eindhoven different
The rate is € 40 per hour excl. VAT with a three-hour minimum; from eight hours a day rate of € 300 applies. Because Eindhoven is furthest from my base, approach time weighs more heavily here than in Utrecht. Across a full day that fades; on a single short run you notice it. Just ask and I will work it out for you.
The environmental zone arrives in 2027
Eindhoven has no environmental zone for passenger cars today; your car may go anywhere. From 1 January 2027 that changes: diesel passenger cars of emission class 4 and lower will no longer be allowed inside the Ring. If you are considering a different car this year, that is the date to plan around.
The zero-emission zone does not apply to your car
Eindhoven has had a zero-emission zone since 1 January 2025, but it exists for vans and lorries. Passenger cars do not fall under it. This is often confused with the environmental zone arriving in 2027.
Parking
Street parking in the centre is € 4.80 an hour in 2026, and lower in the surrounding districts, the cheapest of the five cities on this site. Those costs are calculated in advance and included in the quote.
Recurring events
For two weeks a year Eindhoven is a different city. Dutch Design Week runs from 17 to 25 October 2026 across more than a hundred locations, and GLOW fills the centre with light art and hundreds of thousands of visitors every November. There are also PSV home matches at the Philips Stadion and carnival in spring. On those days I would rather book well ahead.
Insurance
I drive under your own policy, like any driver with your permission. Check once that there is no age or named-driver restriction on it; with almost every Dutch policy this is not an issue. If you are unsure, send the policy sheet along and I will look at it with you before anything is agreed.

Frequently asked
What people want to know beforehand
Not at the moment. From 1 January 2027 it will: diesel passenger cars of emission class 4 and lower will no longer be allowed inside the Ring. Until that date your car may go anywhere.
No. The zero-emission zone in force since 1 January 2025 exists for vans and lorries. Passenger cars do not fall under it.
Yes. Many appointments in this region sit outside the Eindhoven boundary, and that is precisely why a chauffeur makes sense here. Give me the addresses when booking and I will order them so you are not going back and forth.
The hourly rate is the same everywhere, but Eindhoven is furthest from my base in the Utrecht region, so approach time weighs more. Across a full day it disappears into the day rate; on one short run you notice it. I will work it out for you in advance.
Yes, and I drive your car back to your own driveway afterwards. On arrival I work from the flight number, so if the landing moves the appointment moves with it.
No, deliberately not. I drive the car you already own. You sit in your own vehicle and at the end of the day it is back at your house.
Yes. The minimum is three hours at € 40 per hour, excl. VAT. From eight hours the € 300 day rate becomes cheaper, and with Eindhoven that point often comes sooner because of the travel time.
